A vase sounds like a small decision until you realise it sits on your shelf every single day. The wrong one looks like it wandered in from somewhere else. The right one makes the whole surface feel intentional, as if someone thought about it, which of course is the point. Beige is having a moment but that is not why we pulled this collection together. We pulled it together because a well chosen neutral vase is one of the most versatile things you can own. It works with dried grasses, with a single stem, with nothing at all. What we looked for was form first. The kind of shape that reads as considered rather than generic, with a finish that rewards a second look. Matte versus gloss, thrown clay versus cast ceramic, squat and grounded versus tall and structural. All of it matters more than people realise. These are the ones that earn their place on the shelf and stay there.
