It holds the glass of water, the book you're halfway through, the phone you're trying not to look at, and whatever you emptied from your pockets before getting in. A bad bedside table makes all of that feel chaotic. A good one makes the whole bedroom feel more resolved. What we've been looking for here is pieces that actually fit how people use that corner of their lives. Enough surface area to be practical. Storage where it matters. A height that works with the bed frame rather than fighting it. We've also been thinking about proportion, because a bedside table that looks too small or too bulky throws off a whole room in a way that's surprisingly hard to fix. These are pieces we'd genuinely choose for our own bedrooms. Not just good looking, but well thought through for the way a real bedroom actually gets used every night.
