Black Lamps Worth a Spot on the Side
A black lamp on a side table does more than provide light. It anchors a corner, adds weight to a room that might otherwise feel a little unresolved, and gives you something that reads as a proper design decision rather than a practical afterthought. We've noticed that people often get the sofa right, the rug right, even the cushions right, and then put a beige linen shade on a brass base in the corner and wonder why the room feels slightly off.
