The coffee table is one of those pieces that gets used more than almost anything else in the house and yet people often treat it as an afterthought. A surface that doesn’t show every ring mark or need treating like a museum piece. Proportions that suit a real room rather than a showroom. Some have storage because frankly most of us need it. Some are simple and just beautifully made.

None of these are trying too hard. They just sit there and make the room feel more like itself.
